Regulations of Implementation for Calvin Wang’s International Scholarship
The application period for the 2026 academic year is from September 14 to September 30, 2026, until 5:00 PM.
Once the form is closed, no further applications will be accepted. Please make sure to submit before the deadline.

Overseas and international students” who apply shall possess the following qualifications:
(1) Students have applied and are accepted for admission to CYCU for undergraduate or graduate study.
(2) Students are in good academic records along with potential for future development.
(3) Students are in financial needs.
Students shall apply for the scholarship during the time span when they are registered with the following necessary qualifications:
(1) The academic score for the previous semester shall be above 70, with no course being failed; together with good character behavior with no penalty recorded.
(2) The maximum numbers of years for obtaining Calvin Wang’s International Scholarship are 4, 2, and 4 for students at undergraduate, master, and Ph.D. levels, respectively.
Numbers of students and amounts of scholarship provided are as follows:
(1) Each year the number of “overseas and international students” at the master and Ph.D. levels shall not exceed 8; each qualified applicant shall receive NT$ 25,000.
(2) Each year the number of “overseas and international students” at the undergraduate level shall not exceed 38 (including all Calvin Wang’s International Scholarship recipients from freshman to senior academic standings); each qualified applicant shall receive NT$ 20,000.
Responsibilities for students receiving the Calvin Wang’s International Scholarship are as follows
(1) Participate in the related activities held by the Scholarship, such as Scholarship-Granting Ceremony, academic activities, and provide a written report on sharing of learning outcome.
(2) The Scholarship-Granting Ceremony shall be held once a year, scheduled to be within three weeks of November 15, on Saturday. It is required for the recipients to participate in this Ceremony; those recipients failing to show up for the Ceremony will be declined for obtaining the Scholarship.

1.Scholarship Application Form (including a letter of recommendation from either an academic advisor or department military counselor)
