I.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0For deferral students who have completed the total number of credits required for graduation, yet failed the required English Proficiency Test or got the relevant certificate and be allowed to graduate.<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 School-leaving procedure:<\/p>\n

A.\u00a0 Students should hand in the required English Proficiency Test to the Language Center, or submit the relevant certificate documents to the Curriculum and Registration Division for processing.<\/p>\n

B.\u00a0 Students should check the status of the school-leaving procedures online and complete the “Chung Yuan Christian University Graduation Clearance Form for Undergraduates (non-Jan. or non-Jun. graduates),” which must be submitted to the Curriculum and Registration (as\u00a0attached 1<\/u><\/a>)<\/a>. Graduates authorizing someone to receive the diploma on their behalf are to download the “Letter of Authorization” as\u00a0attached 2<\/a>.<\/u><\/p>\n

C.\u00a0 Those who have passed the initial review by the department and the Curriculum and Registration Division should go to the Graduation Qualification Inquiry under the Student Affairs section to “Apply for the Conduct Score”.<\/p>\n

D.\u00a0 Those who complete the school leaving procedures submit the “Chung Yuan Christian University Graduation Clearance Form for Undergraduates (non-Jan. or non-Jun. graduates) form” to the Curriculum and Registration Division before the 20th of each month. From the 30th of the current month, students can receive their diplomas in Room 408, Dickson Lee Hall,from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. every Wednesday.<\/p>\n

E.\u00a0\u00a0 After receiving the hardcopy diploma, the Curriculum & Registration Division will send the DCD to graduates\u2019 email within 7 working days. Students must be sure to provide an active personal e-mail account when revising their mailbox. Please refer to\u00a0Attachments 3\u00a0<\/u><\/a>and\u00a04\u00a0<\/u><\/a><\/u>for details on CYCU Issuance and Instructions for DCD.<\/p>\n

\n

III.\u00a0 Refund process:<\/p>\n

A.Thosewho do not take courses during the deferral of graduation should bring the school leaving procedure form and graduation certificate to the Accounting Office in Room 604, Dickson Lee Hall, to apply for a refund.<\/p>\n

B.\u00a0According to “CYCU Regulations of Tuition and Credit Fees” Article 2, Subparagraph 3, Item 3\uff1a\u300cStudents who enrolled after 2012 (2012 included) and finished all the courses needed but haven\u2019t passed CYCU\u2019s required English Proficiency Testif they do not enroll in any courses they still have to register and pay a credit fee that is equal to two credits. Those who got the English Proficiency certification before the new semester started can apply for a full refund. Those who got the certification before one-third of the semester can apply for a two-thirds refund of the fees. Those who got the certification between one-third and two-thirds of the semester can apply for one-third of the refund.
