Overseas and international students\u201d who apply shall possess the following qualifications:<\/p>\n

(1) \u00a0Students have applied and are accepted for admission to CYCU for undergraduate or graduate study.
\n(2) \u00a0Students are in good academic records along with potential for future development.
\n(3) \u00a0Students are in financial needs.<\/p>\n

Students shall apply for the scholarship during the time span when they are registered with the following necessary qualifications:
\n(1) \u00a0The academic score for the previous semester shall be above 70, with no course being failed; together with good character behavior with no penalty recorded.
\n(2) \u00a0The maximum numbers of years for obtaining Calvin Wang\u2019s International Scholarship are 4, 2, and 4 for students at undergraduate, master, and Ph.D. levels, respectively.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Numbers of students and amounts of scholarship provided are as follows:<\/p>\n

(1) Each year the number of \u201coverseas and international students\u201d at the master and Ph.D. levels shall not exceed 8; each qualified applicant shall receive NT$ 25,000.
\n(2) Each year the number of \u201coverseas and international students\u201d at the undergraduate level shall not exceed 38 (including all Calvin Wang\u2019s International Scholarship recipients from freshman to senior academic standings); each qualified applicant shall receive NT$ 20,000.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities for students receiving the Calvin Wang\u2019s International Scholarship are as follows<\/p>\n

(1) Participate in the related activities held by the Scholarship, such as Scholarship-Granting Ceremony, academic activities, and provide a written report on sharing of learning outcome.
\n(2) The Scholarship-Granting Ceremony shall be held once a year, scheduled to be within three weeks of November 15, on Saturday. It is required for the recipients to participate in this Ceremony; those recipients failing to show up for the Ceremony will be declined for obtaining the Scholarship.<\/p>\n
